THE LOVELAND GARDEN CLUB

– est. 1994 –

The Loveland Garden Club (LGC) was organized in October, 1994. Members of our club engage in social activities, field trips, garden tours, special programs during meetings, and community service. We have opportunities to meet with other local gardening clubs to share information and social time. There is a wealth of gardening information shared among our talented club members and we always learn from one another. We expand our knowledge through the abundant horticultural resources throughout Colorado.

Each month we have educational programs to expand our knowledge base as Colorado gardeners and conservationists. You don’t need to be an accomplished gardener to join. Our members’ skill levels vary. Some have small container plantings on the patio while others are Colorado Master Gardeners. We learn from each other as we continue to adapt to the extraordinary and beautiful landscapes of Colorado.

Each year, we raise money through a plant sale in May and an ornament sale each December. Our fund raising efforts directly benefit our community in the form of donations and memorial tree plantings.

Gardening in the Colorado Front Range can be challenging!

Wind, drought, deer, elk, snow and extreme temperature shifts are just a few of the obstacles we face. Join the Loveland Garden Club and learn how to make your garden GREAT!

Education is an important part of the Loveland Garden Club’s mission. We have lectures on everything from roses to xeriscape. Our members enjoy visits to community gardens and so much more!
